You will be able to follow me on a short 3-hour tour, where you will discover the collections of the Capitoline Museums, the first museum in history and absolutely of the city of Rome, but also the first ones intended as a usable space and place open to the community and therefore accessible by the people, not only by the art collection owners.
From here you can choose which of the great museums of Rome you want visit, according to your cultural interests and your tourist and time needs. If you want to know more about ancient art then we will go to the National Roman Museum. If you are a fan of historical galleries and old installations, then we will choose the Borghese Gallery. If you are attracted to Etruscan art and want to visit a Renaissance villa in Rome, then we will not miss a guided tour of the Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia.
Do you love contemporary spaces and design? We can choose between visiting the main museums of modern and contemporary art in Rome, MACRO and MAXXI, or the central Palazzo delle Esposizioni. If, on the other hand, you are passionate about classic and modern style, the National Gallery is the one for you.
If you want to feast on museums then you can extend your personalized tour of the Museums of Ancient and Modern Rome to 6 hours, and visit 3-4 museums together, ranging from ancient art to the latest avant-gardes of contemporary art.
